Education as a Tool in Eradicating Terrorism in Nigeria

Nigeria as a nation is plagued with unprecedented level of insecurity such as terrorism, banditry, herdsmen attack, boko-harum attack, kidnapping, ethno-religious clashers and a hast of others. This has brought a lot of setbacks, millions of lives and properties worth billions have been lost, and in all ramifications have threatened the unity, prace and sustainable national development of the country. This paper examines the concept of education, causes of terrorism in Nigeria; analysis of the role of education in curbing terrorism in Nigeria, li was gathered that education is a powerful instrument of unity and peace restoration, and plays a vital role in promoting-pational security.
