Statistics of Ghadir program libraries nation wide membership academic: year 2006 - 2007

Various factors, including the explosion of information, the increase in users, and the shortage of financial resources, have created conditions in which no library can independently meet the needs of its users based solely on the resources it has. Therefore, libraries have turned to solutions for decades that allow them to utilize each other's resources to compensate for deficiencies or enhance their capabilities in fulfilling their missions. Access to these resources can occur indirectly through users visiting libraries themselves. The "Ghadir Plan for Universal Library Membership" is a new solution designed to provide users with direct access to the resources of academic libraries, based on the experience gained from the "Extension of Specialized Library Services to Non-Members" initiative, and has been implemented as a permanent plan since 2008.
