Comparative Analysis of MPPT Techniques for A 10 Mw PV Plant in MATLAB/Simulink
This paper presents the design and simulation of a 10 MW photovoltaic (PV) power plant using MATLAB/Simulink software, focusing on the evaluation and comparison of two controller strategies: Proportional-Integral (PI) and Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC). The PV system is designed to operate with MPPT and is connected to the utility grid. The analysis considers the impact of each controller on power output, DC-link voltage regulation, and inverter-side performance. Results demonstrate that FLC offers improved dynamic performance, faster response, reduced voltage ripple, and enhanced power delivery efficiency over the conventional PI controller.
