THE INFLUENCE OF MODERN TECHNOLOGIES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEXICOLOGY AND WORD FORMATION IN THE ARABIC LANGUAGE

This article explores the comprehensive impact of moderninformation and communication technologies, particularly the development of theinternet, on the lexicology and word formation of the Arabic language. It analyzesthe processes of new lexical and terminological formation driven by digitalization,including the use of internal linguistic resources (morpho-root method, semantictransformation) and external factors (calquing, transliteration). Special attention isgiven to sociolinguistic changes, such as the emergence of Arabizi, and thechallenges associated with terminology standardization in the digital age.
