A Statistical Research on the Effects of Mental Health on Students' CGPA
University life promises growth and opportunity, yet for many students, it also brings silent battles with mental health. This study explores how depression, anxiety, and panic attacks affect students’ academic performance, drawing from a dataset of 101 individuals. Using demographic, academic, and mental health data, we examined prevalence rates and patterns through statistical and visual analysis. The findings are sobering: over one-third of students reported depression (34.65%), anxiety (33.66%), or panic attacks (32.67%), yet only 5.94% sought professional help. Although direct links between CGPA and specific conditions were not established, the numbers reveal a deeper truth that students are struggling, often in silence. This research calls on universities to move beyond awareness and toward action, with policies, counseling resources, and stigma-free environments that allow students to reach their full potential academically and personally
