Performance Analysis of Solar Photovoltaic Systems Using Artificial Intelligence

Renewable energy sources are the only practical prime challenges for generating pollution-freeenergy in the present day because of their innate capabilities and environmentally consciouscharacteristics. Achieving high efficiency in this kind of solar photovoltaic system is essential towardsindustry, which is expanding rapidly. Multiple peaks in the PV curve caused by partial shading make itmore difficult to determine the installations maximum power point. One of the best possibilities for givingup to society is the power and energy, which is in need of solar energy. By employing the maximumpower point tracking technique to get the optimum amount of power from the panel and transmit it to theload, research may successfully boost a PV panel efficiency. Many authors have examined based on theirsurveys based on the sequential advancement of solar PV over decades. Many maximum power pointtracking systems algorithms have been proposed and employed on photovoltaic systems. A comparativestudy form is also presented at the end of the discussion of each category to evaluate the performance ofthese methods, which will help in selecting the appropriate technique for any specific application. Acollection of several datasets pertaining to various control processes are compared with an extendedefficient traditional MPPT algorithm followed by artificial intelligence approaches, which has beenproposed in this paper using a suitable MATLAB simulator.
