LINGUOPRAGMATICS AS A BRANCH OF LINGUISTICS
Linguopragmatics is an interdisciplinary field that examines the relationship between language and its use in specific social and cultural contexts. It integrates insights from semantics, syntax, sociolinguistics, and discourse analysis to study both explicit and implicit meanings in communication. This paper outlines the scope, key theories, and practical applications of linguopragmatics, highlighting its relevance in intercultural communication, language teaching, and natural language processing. Additionally, challenges posed by digital communication and multilingualism are discussed, along with future research directions.
