Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within globalbioticinteractions/climbats hash://md5/41c649dd1f9cd54c9ed7f74536effc13

Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named globalbioticinteractions/climbats, has fingerprint hash://md5/41c649dd1f9cd54c9ed7f74536effc13, is 1.42MiB in size and contains 2,089 interaction with 2 unique types of associations (e.g., hasPathogen) between 47 primary taxa (e.g., Eptesicus_serotinus) and 108 associated taxa (e.g., Rhabdoviridae). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
