COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF TOOLS FOR INTEGRATION AND PERFORMANCE TESTING OF RUBY-BASED WEB APPLICATIONS
Abstract This article examines tools for integration and performance testing of Ruby-based web applications, including RSpec, Capybara, JMeter, and k6. Their capabilities, limitations, and applicability for modeling practical usage scenarios are studied, along with an analysis of key aspects of their use in development and testing. The prospect of quantitatively assessing the effectiveness of these tools is explored based on metrics such as test execution time, resource consumption, scalability, and accuracy of load simulation. Directions for developing systematic approaches to selecting testing tools based on project tasks and requirements are identified.
