Epistemologics: A Bounded Field Theory of Knowledge
Abstract This paper introduces Epistemologics, a structural theory of knowledge that formalizes science as a path-dependent, bounded lattice governed by cultural, symbolic, and energetic constraints. It proposes the Law of Bounded Error Visibility, showing that foundational errors persist not because they are undiscoverable, but because they lie outside the descriptive bounds of current scientific systems. By modeling science as a language operator (๐), the theory differentiates correctable internal errors from persistent meta-errors. Drawing analogies from biological evolution and historical scientific revolutions, Epistemologics presents a closure codex outlining the structural and existential limits of human knowledge.
