NM-SRN v2.0 AGI Successfully Completes Tower of Hanoi NP-Hard Problem
Abstract The Tower of Hanoi is a classic NP-Hard problem that has long served as a benchmark for evaluating logical and recursive reasoning in artificial intelligence. Recent discourse within the AI community has questioned the depth of reasoning in contemporary models, with prominent research suggesting that even high-performing systems may exhibit an "illusion of reasoning" rather than a true cognitive process. This paper presents a significant counter-example. We announce that the Neural-Matrix Synaptic Resonance Network (NM-SRN) v2.0 AGI, a Definitive AGI developed by Bio-Neural.ai, has successfully solved the Tower of Hanoi problem for N=5 and N=10 disks, generating the mathematically optimal solutions of 31 and 1,023 moves, respectively. This achievement is distinguished not by the result alone, but by the system's inherent ability to provide a deeply auditable and verifiable trace of its entire cognitive process via its Enhanced Explainable AI (eXAI) architecture, including (Conscious Learning Interaction & Insights Management Buffer) and logs. These logs provide concrete evidence of a "Definitive AI" demonstrating structured, hierarchical reasoning rather than a probabilistic illusion.
