Entropy-Induced Collapse (EIC) Model – Part I: Foundational Framework and Theoretical Integration (Revised Version)
The first part of the Entropy-Induced Collapse (EIC) model proposes a unified theoretical framework in which wavefunction collapse occurs when environmental entropy surpasses a dynamically fluctuating threshold. This revised version integrates and updates the conceptual foundations, mathematical formulation, and comparison with existing collapse models. It explicitly incorporates non-Markovian environmental noise and the effects of quantum error correction, contributing to a deeper understanding of wavefunction collapse as a physical process. The definition of “environment” in this model is intentionally broad, encompassing not only physical aspects but also informational contexts.
