THE PRINCIPLE OF ANTHROPOCENTRISM AND THE REFLECTION OF NATIONAL IDENTITY
This article analyzes the principle of anthropocentrism and the issue of reflecting national identity. The principle of anthropocentrism considers humans as the central element of the language system, viewing language not merely as a communicative tool but also as a means of expressing human cognition, worldview, and national culture. The article discusses how language conveys national identity, how a nation’s cultural heritage and historical experience manifest in the language system, and the significance of this principle in linguistics, translation studies, and cultural studies. The anthropocentric approach is reflected in phraseology, metaphors, and national cultural symbols, playing a crucial role in the translation process as well.
