Smart Home Automation System with Voice Control Integration

The rapid evolution of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies has enabled the creation of advanced smart homeautomation systems that improve user convenience, security, and energy efficiency. The present paper presents anew smart home automation system integrating voice control with a cloud-based voice recognition service usingthe ESP32 microcontroller as its processing platform. Compared to conventional systems based on large singleboard computers such as the Raspberry Pi, the proposed solution is distinguished by low cost, energy efficiency, and simplicity of implementation based on the small form factor ESP32 platform. The architectural design of thesystem makes it feasible to easily control a wide variety of household appliances, including lighting, climatecontrol, and security sensors, through natural language voice commands transmitted over Wi-Fi using the MQTTprotocol. Experimental performance shows a recognition accuracy rate exceeding 90% and an average responsetime of less than 200 milliseconds, making the proposed system a promising and scalable solution for smarthome environments in the modern world.
