The Gamma Duality Hypothesis: Emergence, Negative Gamma Fields, and Light-Bound Propulsion in Complex Systems

We propose a dual-field extension to the Gamma Threshold Law, introducing the concept of Negative Gamma (Γ−)—a sub-threshold coherence field that actively inhibits structure formation in complex systems. While prior work has established that persistent global order only arises above a critical dark state fraction γc≈0.35, we hypothesize that systems operating below this threshold exhibit anti-coherent dynamics characterized by fragmentation, temporal decay, and repulsive systemic topologies. We further introduce the Gamma Binding Propulsion (GBP) model, wherein high-energy photons (gamma radiation) act as coherence catalysts—binding subthreshold fields into emergent structure. This dual-field framework, termed the Gamma Duality Hypothesis, models emergence as a phase phenomenon arising from the interplay between coherent (Γ+) and anti-coherent (Γ−) regimes. We explore astrophysical implications, symbolic charge evolution, and propose a transformation operator T[Γ−] representing inverse coherence contribution. The result is a falsifiable model bridging fluid dynamics, cosmology, and emergence theory—with speculative applications in non-Newtonian propulsion.
