Requirement Specification for a VR-Based Safety Training System
This document defines a structured requirement specification for a Virtual Reality (VR) safety training system. It focuses on usability, engagement, and knowledge retention. The primary use case is battery manufacturing, where safety risks include electrical shocks, chemical leaks, and fire hazards. Requirements are based on Lauesen’s framework and the IEEE 830-1998 standard. The document serves as a design guide and evaluation tool for developers, trainers, and researchers. It was created as part of a master’s thesis at Chalmers University of Technology.
