STPA2MBSA
This archive contains the source code, data, ontologies, and supplementary materials for the paper titled "Achieving MBSA Simulation of STPA Loss Scenarios: An Integration Guideline for Aircraft Safety". The repository provides a software pipeline that implements an ontology-driven methodology to formally integrate System-Theoretic Process Analysis (STPA) and Model-Based Safety Analysis (MBSA). The toolchain enables the automated generation of executable MBSA observers from textual STPA loss scenarios, creating a traceable link between high-level system hazards and low-level component failure models. Included are all scripts (Python, Bash, SPARQL), configuration files, and data for the case study on the Cessna C510 electrical system, demonstrating the practical application of the method.
