Metaheuristic-Based Feature Selection Approach for Facial Expression Recognition
Metaheuristic Selection of Properties for the Detection of Expressional Expression (FER) Detection of Expressional Expressions (FER) is an important aspect of interactions between humans and human computer mood analysis. FER includes identification of emotions from facial expressions. This can be a challenge due to variations in facial structure, representation and environmental conditions. Functional selection plays an important role in the FER as it identifies the most relevant traits that contribute to accurate detection of emotions. Metaheuristic algorithms require efficient searching for the best solution in complex problem rooms, allowing them to efficiently search for the best solution in selecting characteristics. These algorithms can find the best features, reduce dimensions, and improve classification accuracy. Benefits of metaheuristic algorithms in FER include increased accuracy, robustness and efficiency. However, challenges such as computer complexity, characterization extraction, and multi-object optimization must be addressed. While filter-based methods are popular due to their simplicity and scalability, wrapper-based methods use optimization techniques to select the optimal subset of characteristics. Various studies have shown the effectiveness of using different feature selection methods for robust FER systems. The selection criteria are determined by the cross-validation accuracy of the SVM classifier. This approach involves repeated functional optimization processes to maximize the accuracy of SVM expression detection. Future research should focus on the challenges related to the selection of metallurgical properties and examine new applications of these technologies in FER. By optimizing feature selection, the Metaheuristic algorithm improves the accuracy and efficiency of the FER system, allowing for more detailed emotion detection and mood analysis.
