Quantum-Bio-Cognition: A Multiscale Perspective on Anticipatory Systems
This update grounds the QBC concept in current peer‑reviewed evidence and clearly separates established findings, emerging evidence, and speculative layers. A new keystone reference demonstrates that anticipation of infection by neural peripersonal‑space (PPS) circuits in VR can trigger measurable innate immune changes in humans (ILC/NK modulation), via hypothalamic–HPA coupling. We integrate this with well‑supported neuro‑immune pathways (vagal cholinergic anti‑inflammatory reflex; behavioral conditioning of immune responses), and we constrain the quantum‑biology elements to domains with empirical support (radical‑pair magnetoreception, debated photosynthetic coherence), marking controversial topics (vibrational olfaction) as such. The “cosmic coherence” framing is retained as inspiration, not as a claim of present‑day applicability.
