Components and Performance Indicators of Air Passenger Transport

The article is devoted to substantiation of the main components of efficiency of air passenger transportations and identification of key indicators for their assessment and analysis in the process of activity of modern air companies. The essence of the efficiency of air passenger transportation is defined. The main components that form the efficiency of air passenger transportations are substantiated: technical, operational, operational, economic, financial, investment, innovation efficiency and efficiency of the management system. A list of key indicators for assessing each component of the efficiency of air passenger transportation is proposed. The main directions for improving the efficiency of air transportation at the present stage of development and functioning of the aviation industry are identified.
