The Maximal Speed of Energy Conversion: The Takayuki Conjecture
This paper proposes the Takayuki Conjecture: the hypothesis that energy conversion processes have a fundamental upper bound in speed, independent of efficiency and entropy. The paper defines this speed as v = \Delta E / \Delta t, and suggests that intelligent systems may optimize structural or algorithmic conditions to approach this bound. The possibility that spacetime structure, quantum limits such as the Planck time, or even observer influence could affect conversion speed raises profound questions. Furthermore, by considering energy as an informational structure and conversion as intention-driven morphogenesis, the paper explores the potential for physical law itself to reflect intelligent agency.
