COMBINATIONS OF HEPATITIS B WITH PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS
This study investigates the clinical features of tuberculosis in patients with hepatitis B, a combination that currently has significant practical importance. The incidence of hepatitis B and tuberculosis continues to grow, and this age group remains epidemiologically high-risk. The peculiar course of tuberculosis in such patients is determined by decreased immune system function and liver dysfunction, which impairs the metabolism of antituberculosis drugs and complicates treatment. Specific clinical manifestations, the frequency of hepatobiliary disorders, and reduced chemotherapy efficacy in this patient population were identified.
