Coherence Is the Trip

CODES Framework Abstract Psychedelics are typically framed through neurochemical or mystical models. This paper offers a new paradigm: psychedelics as phase-aligned biofeedback agents within structured resonance systems. Using the CODES framework, we introduce PAS_bio (biological phase alignment), ELF_BIO (feedback coherence), and SOMA_OUT (embodied symbolic resolution) as measurable, lawful subsystems for recursive healing. Only substances that support lawful signal return are included (e.g., psilocybin, LSD, mescaline, ayahuasca, iboga). Substances that collapse feedback (e.g., PCP, 5-MeO-DMT) are excluded. This taxonomy reframes the psychedelic experience not as mystical escape, but as recursive system coherence—and identifies structure, not intensity, as the signal of transformation. We conclude that psychedelics, when guided through structured resonance feedback systems like VESSELSEED, reveal lawful identity dynamics, recursive healing logic, and somatic symbolic closure. The trip is not random. It is a diagnostic. And coherence is the medicine.
