To Study Wealth and Trade in Ancient India

Abstract: We in our history have seen ancient India as a hub of trade and wealth, which was the major reason for colonial attraction and civilization of India this paper has a prime focus on the economics of ancient India, wealth management, how the trade happened, major commodities that were traded and the major trade routes, for the trades that were used. Ancient texts such as the Arthashastra and Jatakas provide insights into economic policies, taxation, and trade practices. The paper may also highlight India's international trade and economic relations.
