Entropy-Based Emergent Cosmology: A Thermodynamic Framework for Λ(t) and Emergent Time

This paper introduces a speculative cosmological framework where dark energy Λ(t) emerges as a function of entropy. It explores how time itself may arise from entropy gradients, and how quantum observation contributes to the arrow of time. The model is numerically tested and shown to fit real-world H(z) data, offering a new way to look at dark energy not as a constant, but as a dynamic expression of entropy-driven expansion. All simulations and parameters are included in the accompanying notebook.

Abstract

This paper introduces a speculative cosmological framework where dark energy Λ(t) emerges as a function of entropy. It explores how time itself may arise from entropy gradients, and how quantum observation contributes to the arrow of time. The model is numerically tested and shown to fit real-world H(z) data, offering a new way to look at dark energy not as a constant, but as a dynamic expression of entropy-driven expansion. All simulations and parameters are included in the accompanying notebook.
