Library innovation ecosystem: key characteristics

The article substantiates the application of integration approach in the development of theoretical foundations of library innovation ecosystem. The key characteristics of library innovation ecosystem are identified, among which are self-organization, self-development, adaptability, branching structure, nonlinearity, openness, joint creation of new values, collaboration, co-evolution of participants. The author concludes that the innovation process in the library at the moment is carried out without creating its own ecosystem, there are only some of its elements, which are not static.
