AbstractAcute gastroenteritis is a leading cause of diarrhea that cansignificantly impact health status. This study aims to evaluatethe effectiveness of green flat banana as a non-pharmacological intervention in clients with diarrhea due toacute gastroenteritis. The research applied a case studyapproach with nursing care implementation. Data werecollected through observation, interviews, and documentationduring the intervention process. The intervention wasconducted over three days with a daily intake of 100–150 gramsof green banana. The results showed a reduction in bowelmovement frequency, improved stool consistency, andincreased intestinal peristalsis activity. It is concluded thatgreen flat banana is effective as a complementary therapy inmanaging diarrhea caused by acute gastroenteritis. Keywords: Green flat banana, diarrhea, acutegastroenteritis, nursing intervention
