La Ruta Literaria Trastámara. Una propuesta pedagógica innovadora
Castilian literature has been marked by the production of the 14th and 15th centuries, coinciding with the rise and fall of the Trastámara dynasty. During the reigns of Henry III the Suffering and John II, along with the unique influence of the favourite don Álvaro de Luna, significant contributions were made to the cultural heritage of Castile. In later periods, rewritings based on the Castilian Late Middle Ages have allowed for parallels to be drawn with the problems that faced the State. Teaching this educational heritage to young people enrolled in compulsory secondary education or to students in equivalent programmes at adult education centres could be complemented with more innovative techniques. This project proposes the use of 360º (omnidirectional) audiovisual media to reproduce relevant scenes from Castilian literature, in an immersive educational itinerary called La Ruta Trastámara (The Trastámara Route), to reinforce the students’ knowledge of relevant literary fragments while simultaneously stimulate their discovery.
