MODERN METHODS OF INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT

This article analyzes modern technologies used in the treatment of industrial wastewater - biological, chemical, physicochemical and membrane-based methods. The study examines the effectiveness, advantages and disadvantages of membrane bioreactors, photocatalytic oxidation, electrocoagulation, nanofiltration and plasma technologies based on a comparative analysis. According to the results, combined approaches provide the highest treatment efficiency. This article can serve as a useful resource for implementing environmentally friendly treatment systems at industrial enterprises.
