The Coherence Field Paradigm and the Roots of Obesity: A Phase Drift Model of Human Fitness
This paper introduces a novel framework for understanding obesity and poor fitness as outcomes of coherence field disruption, rather than caloric imbalance or behavioral failure. Grounded in the Coherence Field Paradigm (CFP), it reframes obesity as a manifestation of phase drift between human biological fields and modern environmental inputs—particularly sedentary behavior and processed food consumption. The paper outlines two primary coherence-breaking mechanisms (movement phase drift and dietary phase flux), and proposes four testable predictions. This theory suggests that athletic physique and functional muscularity are not exceptional, but represent the body’s default state when in coherence. The model offers a revolutionary reinterpretation of metabolic health, suitable for applications in medicine, public health, psychology, and evolutionary biology.
