eGov-Campus The Learning Platform for E-Government
The eGov-Campus, initiated by Germany’s IT-Planning Council, is a centralized platform for online education in e-government and administrative informatics. Since 2020, it has offered free MOOCs and blended learning in collaboration with over 15 German universities. To address key challenges in public sector education like the limited time available, bridging the practitioner-academic gap and the fast changing circumstances, eGov-Campus provides modularized courses and micro-credentials for flexible learning, practical case studies for real-world application, and networking initiatives to connect researchers and practitioners.
