Quantified Emergence Theory (QET): A Resistance-Based Framework for Emergence, Gravitation, and Consciousness
This white paper introduces the O’Leary Physics framework, a novel paradigm in which spatial resistance—rather than time—serves as the primary organizing principle of physical and cognitive emergence. The framework is formalized through a family of integral equations that model the flow of energy through resistive structures to explain phenomena across multiple domains. I present and empirically validate three foundational equations: one predicting human consciousness using heart rate variability data, another modeling AI alignment through contradiction-based resistance, and a third accurately reproducing galactic rotation curves without invoking dark matter. Each formulation is derived from the same unifying principle: emergence is a function of energy traversal through spatial resistance fields. These time-independent formulations are shown to be predictive using empirical datasets, offering a unified and dimensionally consistent alternative to traditional time-based physics.
