Phra Buddhaprathanaporn Sri Thep Mongkhon: The Artistic Faith of Korakha-Pura
This article examines Phra Buddhaprathanaporn Sri Thep Mongkhon as a symbol of spiritual devotion and Buddhist artistry in Korakha-Pura. The study highlights its multidimensional significance: religious and cultural values, trigonometric astrological geometry in its placement, the enshrinement of sacred relics within the statue, and its role as a focal point of the Buddharaksa Moral Community. Findings suggest that this Buddha image transcends artistic representation, functioning as a spiritual medium that integrates faith, culture, cosmic symbolism and community identity, thereby reinforcing the living tradition of Thai Buddhism in the 21st century.
