TUBERCULOSIS – A GLOBAL HUMAN HEALTH PROBLEM
Tuberculosis is a chronic specific inflammatory disease that can affect various organs in the human body. The specific causative agent is M. tuberculosis. It is a socially significant disease. A retrospective analysis of the incidence was conducted for the period 2018-2021. A trend towards a decrease in the total number of exam-ined persons was established, and the frequency of bacilli-secretors was increased. Incidence has increased in women. There is a trend towards earlier diagnosis, which reduces the possibility of spreading the infection.
