Annotation This thesis examines the pedagogical opportunities available in preschool educational institutions for the development of emotional intelligence in young children. The study focuses on play-based learning, storytelling, creative activities, role-playing, and social-emotional learning modules. Findings reveal that the systematic application of these mechanisms enriches children’s emotional vocabulary, enhances self-regulation and empathy, and improves social adaptation. Furthermore, family engagement and teacher professional development are identified as crucial factors for ensuring sustainable and effective emotional intelligence development in preschool settings.
