THE PHENOMENON OF THE SOCIAL UNCONSCIOUS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE RUSSIANUKRAINIAN WAR

The article is devoted to the problem of manipulation of mass consciousness with the help of the media, in particular, with the use of special propaganda mechanisms. The problem is interpreted in the cognitive key of E. Fromm's concept of the social unconscious. It has been proven that the assumption of the founders of psychoanalysis regarding the convergence of the neurotic's protective mental mechanisms and the mechanisms of influence of political disinformation on mass consciousness is still relevant today. The need for further research is substantiated.
