Paper 19: Causal Shells and Temporal Asymmetry from Entropy Clocks in the Holosphere Lattice
We investigate the emergence of causal boundaries, directional time structure, and information flow constraints within the Holosphere lattice—a discrete spacetime model composed of coherently rotating, phasecoupled Holospheres. Extending the entropy clock formalism introduced in Paper 18, we show that local gradients in rotational misalignment propagate outward at a finite angular coherence speed vφ, forming dynamically expanding causal shells analogous to light cones in relativity. In this framework, causality is not fundamental but arises from finiterange coherence connectivity. When phase misalignment exceeds a critical threshold ϵc, coherence breaks down, defining “tension horizons” that sever entanglement and block signal propagation. Through simulations of entropy clock divergence and lattice strain anisotropy, we demonstrate that time asymmetry, causal disconnection, and directional decoherence all emerge naturally from the geometry of angular strain. Wecomparethis model to relativistic light cones, quantum no-signaling, and event horizons in gravitational systems, and propose experimental tests in strained quantum circuits and rotating optical media. The Holosphere lattice thus offers a falsifiable, coherence-based foundation for causal structure, unifying time, entropy, and signal limits within a discrete, physically constrained framework.
