We present a novel physical regularization model, termed IGM-RG (Integrated Geometric Model with Geometric Renormalization), for the simulation of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. The model introduces an adaptive effective viscosity founded on a theoretical principle that postulates a finite limit to the local enstrophy density, which is derived from molecular properties and a fundamental geometric constant.

Abstract

We present a novel physical regularization model, termed IGM-RG (Integrated Geometric Model with Geometric Renormalization), for the simulation of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. The model introduces an adaptive effective viscosity founded on a theoretical principle that postulates a finite limit to the local enstrophy density, which is derived from molecular properties and a fundamental geometric constant.
