Layered Symbolic RAG Agents Achieve High‑Precision ζ(s) Verification
This working paper presents the first successful implementation of a multi-agent symbolic computation system capable of verifying the first eight non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function to a precision of ~10⁻¹⁴. Built using the Aether symbolic cognition framework, the system employs a layered architecture composed of a binary numeric agent (⊢₀ Euclid), a balanced-ternary analytic agent (⊢₁ Fibonacci), and a truth-selection agent (⊢₂ Hypatia). Agents communicate through Symbolic Baton Passing and operate within a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) environment. The architecture demonstrates resilience to context overflow, structured uncertainty propagation (𝕌ᵣ), and symbolic auditability. Results suggest that symbolic multi-layered systems may offer a viable path toward autonomous, high-precision mathematical reasoning.
