Beyond Time VI: A Unified Framework for the Emergence of Temporal Experience from Relativistic and Thermodynamic Constraints
Abstract:This paper proposes a novel hypothesis that time is not a fundamental dimension of the universe but an emergent scalar property arising from the boundary constraints imposed by the speed of light (c) and absolute zero (0 K). By redefining time as the rate of distinguishable state transitions within physical systems, this framework offers a conceptual unification of relativity and thermodynamics. Through this lens, spacetime geometry, entropy, and causality are emergent phenomena shaped by energy flow and information resolution, rather than inherent dimensions. This hypothesis reframes time as a consequence of state-change dynamics and suggests a new pathway for integrating general relativity, quantum mechanics, and thermodynamics into a coherent, unified model.
