Guarantees Of The Juvenile Accused At The Pre-Trial Stage In Iraqi Law

The pre-trial stage is one of the most serious stages of a criminal case. It is all the more dangerous that it represents the event's first confrontation with public authority. Therefore, the legal rules in the area of juvenile justice have developed a set of recommendations concerning the need to enact juvenile legislation that includes some guarantees at the evidentiary stage and thus provides guarantees for the juvenile accused at the preliminary investigation stage.
