Humans require information in order to solve issues and complete tasks.Information seeking behavior is the study of a user's approaches and strategies or how a user searches through different sources to find the information he or she needs. The study of information demands and use in the modern day benefits information system developers as well as users. All industries are affected by information seeking behavior, but since libraries' primary goal is to meet patrons' information demands, this is a hot topic for library and information science study.
