To Conserve water: Visionary Initiative of Rajshri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj

Abstract: Water is Life. Water is a prime natural resource. It is a basic need for humans and a precious asset that living beings have. It's used for drinking, cooking, cleaning, and more. Water is also important for regulating the climate and supporting ecosystems. Water is stored for different purposes in the form of dam and well. It is very important especially for irrigation and industry. In Maharashtra descendant of Swarajye Rakshak Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and King of Kolhapur Rajshree Shahu Maharaj implemented many welfare schemes, one of the most important schemes which has contributed to Kolhapur was the building of Radhanagari dam. In this research article let us know more information about the work of this Maharaja.
