Vector Wave Propagation in Localized Moving Medium (Regrider Model)
A vector wave model of light propagation in a local moving medium — the regrider — is proposed. Light is considered as a wave maintaining a constant speed C relative to its local medium, which itself may be in motion. The presented model includes the special theory of relativity as a particular case, arising when Sk = 0, where Sk is the velocity of the local medium (regrider) relative to an external observer. Physical analogies are described, the mathematical model is formalized, and experimental predictions are provided — including scenarios involving stationary vacuum. The model may be useful for revisiting the wave picture of light and expanding the theoretical toolkit in optics, astrophysics, and fundamental physics.
