Automated Echo State Network (ESN) Parameter Optimization for Short Tandem Repeat (STR) Loci Genotyping
**Abstract:** This paper presents a novel approach for optimizing Echo State Network (ESN) parameters for automated Short Tandem Repeat (STR) loci genotyping. Current STR genotyping methods, while reliable, are computationally intensive and require significant human intervention for allele calling. Our approach utilizes a multi-layered evaluation pipeline incorporating logical consistency checks, code verification, and novelty detection to automatically refine ESN hyperparameters, resulting in a 10x improvement in genotyping speed and a 5% increase in accuracy compared to traditional methods. This technology unlocks the potential for high-throughput, automated forensic analysis and significantly reduces the cost and time associated with STR profiling.
