ASSESSMENT AND OPTIMIZATION OF PREGNANCY AND CHILDBIRTH IN WOMEN OF ADVANCED REPRODUCTIVE AGE
Advanced reproductive age is typically defined as the period after 35 years old when a woman becomes pregnant. In recent decades, there has been a growing trend of increasing maternal age due to social, environmental, and medical factors. According to Cleary-Goldman et al. (2005), pregnancies in women over 35 are associated with a significantly increased risk of obstetric complications such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, and chromosomal abnormalities. Furthermore, Schimmel et al. (2006) report that maternal age influences both maternal and neonatal outcomes, making age a critical factor in pregnancy management.
