(AUTO)BIOGRAPHIES OF A PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER: NARRATIVES OF LIFE, WORK AND TRAINING
The study aims to bring to the debate contributions in teacher training with the use of autobiographical narratives of life, work and training of a Physical Education teacher, focusing on the life story and professional teaching trajectory. As methodological procedures, using narrative research as a theoretical reference, the following were carried out: bibliographical research, using articles, books and chapters that deal with narrative research as sources; and analysis of memorials and records of the author, in which he narrates his life, work and training experiences in the areas of Education and Physical Education. Such procedures helped to expand and understand narrative research as a research methodology, with the definition of categories in the study that touched on the academic path, teacher training and professional intervention. The results showed that narrative research, through the method of autobiographical narratives, has a vast theoretical and methodological repertoire, and can be used in the initial training process and by in-service teachers, in their reflection and pedagogical performance. It is concluded that narrative research as a research methodology, for a Physical Education teacher, constituted a deep exercise of analysis of knowledge, supposedly appropriated, not appropriated, and to be appropriated, between what they already knew or thought they knew - past reality, with what they know or think they know today - present reality, or even with what they do not know and project to know from now on - future reality.
