Enhancing GNSS Accuracy Through the Actualization Function: A Novel Theoretical Correction to Timing and Filtering
This paper applies the recently proposed Actualization Function (AF) to global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), presenting a novel correction model for both raw signal timing and filter design. AF introduces a curvature- and interference-aware suppression term derived from Planck-scale physical constraints. Using this approach, the paper models GNSS accuracy under both traditional SR/GR assumptions and AF-enhanced filtering across 6- and 12-satellite configurations. The results demonstrate a measurable improvement in positional accuracy—over 11% in reduced uncertainty area—without modifying satellite hardware. The paper also outlines a theoretical basis for integrating AF corrections into carrier phase filters, Doppler locks, and Kalman smoothers, using public ESA and IGS datasets. Supplementary sections offer technical reproducibility of the AF-filter mapping. This cross-domain application of cosmological theory to Earth-based instrumentation highlights AF's versatility and invites further refinement of existing satellite positioning models. It is suitable for publication in applied physics, geodesy, GNSS, and theoretical modeling journals.
