OPERATIVE APPROACHES FOR CONGENITAL PALATE DEFECTS: ADDRESSING TISSUE DEFICIENCY IN THE TREATMENT

Resume. In order to repair congenital palate problems, this article examines contemporary surgical techniques that address tissue deficiencies. The methods that are intended to improve tissue coverage and patient outcomes are the main focus. The utilization of bioengineered materials, flap methods, and tissue grafting are important strategies. Also covered are the difficulties of the present and potential paths for enhancing surgical procedures. A common disorder requiring reconstructive surgery that frequently affects the palate is orofacial clefting. Keywords: Palate defects present from birth, tissue transplants, flap methods, bioengineered substances, lack of tissue.
