A Comprehensive review on different types of Inflammation of Cornea and Conjunctiva
An inflammation of the cornea, the clear, dome-shaped tissue that covers the pupil and iris in your eye, is known as keratitis. An infection may or may not be associated with keratitis. A relatively minor injury, such as wearing contact lenses for an excessive amount of time or putting a foreign object in the eye, can result in non-infectious keratitis. Bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites can all cause infectious keratitis. Keratitis that is mild to moderate can typically be effectively treated without compromising vision with prompt attention
